Randy says:

purpose of the spring clip hinge pins The panels form a fairly large circle when wrapped around end to end. The clip allow you to overlap the panels into a smaller circle and use the spring clip to secure the panels at the hinge.the windscreen package includes a nylon storeage bag. The bag is lareg enough to include a 3 piece MOJO stove stand for the trangia burner.

CSC says:

Perfect replacement for flimsy shields that come with stoves I love it, light weight, folds down compact, and shields my liquid fuel stoves perfectly from the wind. Also prevents the wind from blowing heat towards combustible items in your camp.My include sack was black not green.

Tetsu Noguchi says:

Mixed effectiveness, but lightweight and useful in a pinch Depending on how you use it, this is either a godsend or a waste of money.
