Great easy up tent – rain fly has limitations Bought this tent a few months ago and have used it 4 times in varying weather conditions. The tent goes up quick and has an attractive design, but beware that if you’re sleeping 2 people in it (3 adults would be near impossible) pretty much all of your gear will need to be outside the tent. Let me explain. The rain fly extends (using stakes) beyond the tent frame and creates a vestibule area where you’d be able to stash your gear. Fantastic for 2 tight for 3. Great value. well made. I currently own 3 ALPS Mountaineering tents. I started with the Zephyr 3 and then added the Aries 3 and just purchased the Lynx 1. I love these tents. I really don’t think you can find better aluminum pole tents for even double the cost. They have held up well with me and my 3 boys on backpacking trips here in Arizona. I purchased one of the floor savers but haven’t used it due to the weight and have instead opted for a light camping tarp that Walmart sells. Here are some comments…
