2 Qt Open Country Kettle This kettle is 6 inches wide and 4 1/4 inches tall. It feels very sturdy. The bail/handle locks to the side or straight up.It comes with a directions and care sheet. The lid looks like it could be used as a plate if needed.I will update this review when I use it. I have other Open Country items and I am very pleased with them.Have used and I still recommend this item. Lid gets hot if used as a plate.

Great Kettle for a terker The only pot(covered) I took on my 40 day Trek and I use it for coffee. Boiling water to make it safe to drink and cooking game.

Perfect for backcountry camping I bought this after watching Dave Canterbury talk about the same product. His is slightly different, but it’s made by the same company. It’s big enough to cook for 2-3 people, and it’s light enough to go backpacking. I like the fact that it’s bigger than a single cup, so you can boil tons of water at once. You can also hang it above a fire if you don’t want to use a stove. Clean up seamed easy. Cheaper than buying from REI if you have PRIME.
